Rajesh Khanna serves as our Vice President of Engineering for CPU Hardware. Before joining Soft Machines, Mr. Khanna worked at Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (AMD) in engineering and management positions, most recently as Mobile Platform Architect in the office of the Chief Engineer. Before that, Mr. Khanna worked at Montalvo Systems as Senior Director of Engineering, developing an x86 CPU, from January 2005 until Montalvo was acquired by Sun Microsystems in April 2008. From October 1999 to January 2005, Mr. Khanna worked at Procket Networks, where he held a series of positions, most recently as director of operations. Before that, Mr. Khanna led the development of the K6 processor, working in a series of positions at both NexGen, Inc., and AMD, after AMD’s acquisition of NexGen in January 1996. Before that, Mr. Khanna worked as a design engineer at Digital Equipment Corporation, where he developed circuits and CAD methodology for DEC’s Alpha microprocessors. Mr. Khanna holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati.
